Creative Arts Vision

Parkhill Junior School intends to make the Arts exciting, inspiring and engaging for all, ensuring that positive and inclusive experiences are provided, which actively support and engage all students (articles 31&23). We aim to give children authentic experiences that encourage personal progression, ownership and striving for excellence. The Arts develop inquisitive thinking, belonging and creativity, helping children to achieve across the curriculum (article 28). At Parkhill, we are proud to give each child the opportunity to perform, play an instrument and create artwork. These projects develop confidence, social skills, resilience and are self-rewarding for all pupils (articles 29&6).
